History
In 1880, Maes Egied decided to breathe a new life
into the small Brasserie Sint Michael Waarloos. He
developed ambitious plans for its brewery. In 1901,
he passed the torch to his sons Ferninand and
Theophiel. They brought with them modernization:
a steam engine to operate the grinders and blades
in the tanks. They felt, such a revolution required a
change in the companys name,. The brothers
also noticed customers demand for low-fermentated
beers. Thus, in 1946 Maes Pils was born, a beer that
is the subject of outstanding care. Only the
best Pils are worthly of bearing the name Maes.
Maes Pils, is a beer with full flavor and character. 

Taste
Maes Pils is distinctive, refreshing
blonde lager, full of body, which offers
a pleasant refined bitterness . Until the
last sip is happiness. Superior quality!

Product Specifications:
Maes Pils is brewed with high qualilty
malt, giving its distinctive flavor. The
Saaz hop, also has a more refined
bitterness. Its individual character is also
due to the fact that all of ingredients used
are carefully selected. The new Maes is
5.2% ABV, which offers consumers a full
beer taste. To preserve its recognizable
and refreshing flavor, the new Maes is still
brewed with the typical Maes yeast.
