Appearance
Tinges of green on pale straw

Nose
Complex and lifted with juicy pear and lemon and lime
flavours with hints of fig and biscuit-like oak.

Palate
Mouth filling and soft, textured with rich citrus and tropical fruit characters. Finishes long and clean with a hint of vanillin French oak.

Cellaring
Drink now to 5 years.

Winemaker’s Comments
2006 was cooler than average however with good harvest management we were able to achieve the best results from the vineyard The 2006 Chardonnay is quite delicate, restrained and has benefited from extended yeast lees contact in the barrel.
