quality of reds at Frankland.

"This Franklin River producer presented an impressive
portfolio... The 2003 'The Stirlings' is a blend of 71% Cabernet
Sauvignon and 29% Shiraz. The toast-scented nose also features
blue and black fruits. In the mouth, the wine is seamless and
the fruit sweet from glycerin. This is a classy wine which
will benefit from 6-8 years of cellaring."
