This is an easy to drink malt with a nice crisp finish “eminently quaffable”.

It is smooth and mellow with a fruity flavour and has a delicate nose. Fresh, floral scent, vanilla, chocolate orange.

Review of Tullibardine Vintage 1993

Appearance: Mid-gold; nice natural colour

Nose (st): Sweet cereal, green malt; creamy; some green notes; very slight mustiness (moss or earth); well balanced and gentle.

Nose (dil): Creamy porridge, sweet pastry, floury (ears of corn); milk chocolate increases; light-weight but pleasant.

Flavour: Soft mouthfeel; clean; sweet start, floury; traces of madeira cake; dries out to become (only) slightly bitter; a trace of char in the finish.

Comment: An attractive, gentle, well-mannered, malt -- a well-born Perthshire lady!
