History of Saison Dupont Cuvée Dry Hopping Styrian Wolf

Saison Dry Hopping was first brewed in 2010. In line with the Dupont tradition, this is a top-fermented blonde beer, re-fermented in the bottle. Every year, Dupont’s Master Brewer Olivier Dedeycker makes a special dry-hopped version of the brewery’s world famous Saison Dupont, allowing him to incorporate a different hop variety each season. Brewed only once, each year’s vintage is made in limited production and can never be reproduced. The 2013 vintage features the famous Triskel hop varietal from Alsace, which is characterized by strong aromatic and floral notes. In 2014, Olivier chose the famous English hop challenger, renowned for its balance of bitter and aromatic qualities. For 2015, the Minstrel hop variety from UK was used, which imparts the beer with herbal, fruity and spicy flavors.
