How long have you been working for TBS?
Over two years; started January 6, 2020.
What do you do in your role at TBS?
I interact with the distributor sales and promotion workforce as well as on and off premise accounts while building and maintaining relationships with buyers.
What is your favorite part about working at TBS?
I really enjoy discussing the various culture of brands that TBS offers to clients.
Tell us a little about yourself:
I’m a recovering band geek (flute and trombone), born and raised in California and moved to NY in 2004. The best travel experience I had was to Scotland in 2016 for a yoga retreat. I love to travel and would look forward to a cross country road trip someday.
Favorite drink?
I am a huge fan of a peaty single malt scotch (I’ve been to the Talisker distillery 3 times) and am currently on the hunt for more cask strength whiskies.
What is one of your major accomplishments?
I would probably have to say that a major accomplishment for me has been moving 3,000 miles and setting down roots in a booming metropolis. A city that I’ve come to love and thrive in, a city that has tried to break me and has encouraged me to keep going. And I wouldn’t trade the process for anything in the world.
What would you do for a career if you weren’t doing this?
Singing on a cruise ship!
What is a fun fact about you people may not know?
I sang at a Ladies Luncheon where then First Lady Hilary Clinton was the guest speaker.
Is there a charity that is near and dear to your heart?
The Connected Warriors is an organization that engages with military veterans and their families to offer trauma-conscious yoga and health care. I’ve volunteered in the past by leading chair and restorative yoga classes at the VA center in Manhattan. It resonates with me as I’ve had several loved ones involved in the military and I wanted to be a part of an organization that gives them the tools to navigate the potential trauma that can occur from active duty.
What do you do in your free time?
I really enjoy being outdoors and watching the seasons change. I love watching movies, going to concerts and reading books. I also enjoy trying on new recipes in the kitchen and crafting syrups and tinctures.
