What is your title?
HR Manager
What do you do in your role at TBS?
A little bit of everything… Recruiting and onboarding, office management, payroll admin, & working on various projects
What is your favorite part about working at TBS?
The flexibility in my day-to-day work & the people.
Tell us a little about yourself:
I’m originally from a small town in Minnesota (Barnesville, home to Potato Days – it’s exactly what it sounds like, two whole days celebrating potatoes) & got my undergrad at the University of North Dakota in Human Resource Management. Post college, I lived in Fargo, North Dakota for about 4 years but I hate the cold so I took a leap & moved to Charleston last year with my dog Winston.
Favorite cocktail?
Margarita
What is one of your major accomplishments?Moving to Charleston – when I made the move I didn’t have a job or know anyone here, just me & my fluffy sidekick Winston but it’s been the best & probably craziest decision I’ve ever made!
What would you do for a career if you weren’t doing this?
A florist – I love flowers & the idea of making floral arrangements all day sounds really relaxing & peaceful. However, my six year old self would say mermaid.
What do you do in your free time?
I love the beach so lots of beach days, paddleboarding, reading, checking out all the cool restaurants Charleston has to offer
If you could travel to one place on earth, right now, where would you go?
Greece – I spent six months there in college & have been itching to go back
If you could go to one concert (even if the singer is dead or alive) what would it be? Dolly Parton – what an icon
