CEO Dave Pardus, along with wife Jayne and youngest daughter Kaila (18) enjoyed a first time experience together as they all voted together for the 2020 Election. Older sister Elysse (19) was unable to join but will be also be a first time voter and is doing her vote by absentee as she is a freshman at Auburn University.
Commenting on the experience Dave said this “the state and county election officials did a nice job providing a safe environment, along with prompt and friendly service. We were in and out in 30 minutes. A fun surprise: the staff member who checked in Kaila stopped things to announce to everyone in the room that she had a first time voter and everyone cheered! Everyone thought it was terrific (other than Kaila who was thoroughly shocked and embarrassed). They did the same thing in the next room when we completed our voting and they processed the ballot – the person who processed Kaila’s ballot announced to everyone that she was a successful first time voter. It was a real positive experience and Jayne, Kaila, Elysse and I hope that everyone votes and has it be a similarly positive experience.”
