Maison L'Envoyé History

Founded in Burgundy in 2011, Maison L’Envoyé—meaning “The House of the Messenger”—is dedicated to exploring exceptional sites around the world where Pinot Noir thrives. The winery focuses on expressing the distinct regional characteristics and winemaking traditions of each area it works in.

Initially centered on Burgundy’s classic varieties of Pinot Noir, Chardonnay, and Gamay Noir, the project has since expanded internationally, maintaining Pinot Noir as its central focus. Today, Maison L’Envoyé produces wines from both Burgundy and Oregon’s Willamette Valley, collaborating with long-established growers whose vineyards often border some of the most renowned sites in these regions.
