Toad Hollow History
In 1994, Toad Hollow was founded by two old friends who retired to an existence of peace and quiet in the hollow. Dr. Toad (Todd Williams), alongside his good friend Rodney Strong and wife, Mrs. Toad (Frankie Williams, pictured right) set out to develop world class wines at an affordable price point for people to enjoy together. Todd Williams, referred to as “Toad” by his younger brother comedian Robin Williams, passed away in 2007.
In 2023 Frankie passed the baton to Andrew Nelson of War Room Cellars to help execute the original Toad Hollow vision of sharing fun wine with friends. Frankie noted, “WarRoom has a strong track record of success and I’m confident they will provide renewed energy for the future and a contagious passion for Toad Hollow. Toad Hollow will thrive in the years to come. I look forward to it!”
