TOTAL BEVERAGE SOLUTION ANNOUNCES NEW VICE PRESIDENT OF MARKETING
TBS Builds Organizational Capability with the Addition of Industry Veteran Tom Rose
MT. PLEASANT, SC (June 7, 2011) – Total Beverage Solution (TBS), a beverage importer and supplier of fine wine, beer and premium spirits, welcomes Tom Rose of Ridgefield, Conn. to their staff as VP of marketing. With the acquisition of several new brands to the TBS portfolio this year, including France’s Château Castel des Maures, Southampton Ales and Lagers, based in New York, and Germany’s Berentzen liquers, CEO Dave Pardus desired to bring someone on staff with the experience and knowledge of Rose to lead and further develop the marketing function. In addition to enhancing marketing and sales efforts, Rose will serve on the organization’s senior leadership team.
Rose comes to TBS with more than 20 years in the beverage industry and has a deep cross functional background which includes serving as Group Marketing Director, VP of Customer Marketing and VP of Sales at Diageo, PLC, the world’s leading premium drinks company. Rose has worked across all categories of beverage alcohol. Most recently, Rose was based in London as the Global Commercial Transformation Director for Diageo. There, he led a global sales force effectiveness (SFE) program in 10 countries in North and Latin America, Europe, Asia, Australia and Africa. He received a bachelor of arts in business administration/marketing from Western Connecticut University, completed the Kellogg Advanced Management Program at Northwestern University and in 2010 earned a master’s degree in professional development and executive coaching from Middlesex University in London, writing his thesis on effective coaching by sales managers.
