Coopers, the only remaining Australian owned and operated brewery, secured the marketing and pouring rights for the Australian Tennis Open for the first time in January 2017. In support of the program TBS initiated a relationship with the U.S. based Tennis Channel whereby Coopers received over $200k in free promotional advertising during their broadcast of the Open. In return TBS executed more than 60 on premise promotional events and secured over 160 off premise displays highlighting the joint Coopers/Tennis Channel tie-in. Coopers experienced growth of 26% during the feature in January, its largest sales month of the year.
